Former Deutsche Bank FX restructurer joins UK bank in London

Monnier spent a decade at Deutsche Bank prior to his move to Barclays

Jeremy Monnier, the former global head of FX structuring at Deutsche Bank, has joined Barclays as a managing director, FX Week has learned.

London-based Monnier joins Barclays after a decade at the German bank, which he left in 2017. It is believed he will take a seat as a senior structurer on Barclays FX desk, reporting to Fabio Madar, the bank’s global head of FX.

Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Monnier spent six years at Goldman Sachs, working primarily as a strategist on the fixed-income
