Torrey heads to Genesis in institutional sales

Dan Torrey joined digital currency trading firm Genesis as head of institutional sales in February, FX Week has learned.

New York-based Torrey moved from Northern Trust, where he had been global head of FX e-commerce sales from 2016.

Prior to that, he worked at foreign exchange trading platform ParFX, where he was head of sales for North America between 2015 and 2016.

He also spent 11 years at EBS in the FX broker’s sales team, following seven years at the Bank of New York.
