HSBC takes Sean Statuto aboard

Statuto joins as a senior vice-president of FX sales

Sean Statuto has joined HSBC as a senior vice-president of foreign exchange sales in the bank’s institutional client group, FX Week has learned.

He is based in New York and reports to Chris Bracco, a senior vice-president and head of real money sales.

Statuto joins HSBC from Bank of America, where he was a director in global FX sales.

Both Bank of America and HSBC declined to discuss personnel moves.
