Puth takes up adviser role at R3

Former CLS chief executive David Puth is lined up to become a strategic adviser for blockchain software firm R3. 

Puth, who left FX settlement firm CLS on September 30, announced his new role via a blog post on the R3 website.

Puth was at the helm of the systemically important financial-market utility from 2012 until his departure. He oversaw the growth of CLS into a company that settles close to $2 trillion of foreign exchange on a daily basis.
