John Carrion heads to Millennium Partners

Former Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan trader ventures to buy side after nearly three decades on sell side

Switching sides: John Carrion joins the wave of bank traders moving to the buy side

John Carrion has joined hedge fund Millennium Partners as a fixed income portfolio manager, FX Week has learned.

New York-based Carrion moves to Millennium Partners after spending more than a decade at Deutsche Bank, where he most recently worked as a senior trader, focused on currencies and rates, among other products. He is believed to have left the German bank in June 2018.

Carrion joined Deutsche in 2007 from JP Morgan, where he spent 16 years trading currencies.
