Marsden becomes head of e-FX quant trading at NatWest Markets

Previously, he managed the e-FX Asia trading business in Singapore

Moving up: James Marsden was promoted in April

James Marsden has been promoted to head of e-FX quant trading at NatWest Markets in Singapore, FX Week has learned.

Marsden spent almost 12 years at RBS, which was renamed NatWest Markets in April 2018. He joined the bank’s London office as a vice-president of quant solutions in 2007.

In 2008, Marsden took on the role of director, quant solutions for Asia-Pacific. He relocated to Singapore to initiate the quant solutions team covering Apac fixed-income, currencies and commodities clients.
