Liu rejoins State Street as e-FX quant trader

Former Bank of America and Morgan Stanley trader took up Hong Kong-based role earlier this month

State Street: Brandon Liu joined the firm for the first time in 2016

Brandon Liu moved back to his former e-FX quant trader role at State Street this month, FX Week has learned.

He joined State Street in 2016, where he worked in e-FX quant trading for two years before becoming chief technology officer and chief information officer (quant) at digital investment bank Blocknology.

Prior to moving to State Street, Liu served in e-FX trading – at Bank of America in Hong Kong for four years and at Morgan Stanley for almost five years.
