Morgan Stanley hires Droege for FX spot trading

Morgan Stanley hired Michael Droege as a foreign exchange spot trader on its Frankfurt-based trading desk in early August, FX Week has learned.

Droege worked in FX spot trading at Credit Suisse for almost five years prior to taking on his new role.

As a result of Brexit preparations, Morgan Stanley started moving investment bankers to its office in Frankfurt last year.

Droege started his career as an FX spot trader at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in 1996. He stayed at the bank for 13 years
