Ziccarelli switches from CLS to Symbiont

After decades in FX, Joe Ziccarelli joins the technology provider to help financial institutions adopt blockchain

Foreign exchange veteran Joe Ziccarelli has joined financial technology firm Symbiont in its fixed-income, commodities and currencies (Ficc) group, the firm has announced.

New York-based Ziccarelli joins Symbiont after spending four years at CLS, where he was the FX utility firm’s head of sales.

This new move to the technology industry marks a break in a long career in financial institutions, going back to the late 1980s, when Ziccarelli joined First Chicago.
