Deborah Hrvatin has been appointed chief risk officer at foreign exchange settlement utility CLS. She will lead the risk function globally as a member of the executive management committee.

As a specialist in risk management and strengthening controls, Hrvatin is responsible for the firm’s risk management framework and for building an enhanced culture of risk identification, challenge and mitigation.

She joined the firm from Citigroup in October, where she had been global head of operational
