Chris Smith to exit HSBC

Chris Smith, head of foreign exchange hedge fund sales at HSBC, is on gardening leave and set to leave the bank soon, FX Week has learned.

London-based Smith has worked at the UK bank since 2012, after serving in similar positions at Deutsche Bank, Citi and Credit Suisse.

His future plans are unknown and HSBC declined to comment on the move.
