Hamberger to head e-FX at Credit Agricole

The bank's former global e-FX product manager is promoted

Global head role: Hamberger took up his new post earlier this month, according to market sources

Stefan Hamberger has been appointed as global head of electronic foreign exchange at Credit Agricole in London, FX Week has learned, responsible for the firm’s entire e-FX business.

Hamberger was global product manager of e-FX before his promotion. He joined the bank in 2016.

Earlier in his career, he spent nine years at Commerzbank in Frankfurt and London, where he held various roles. He was head of e-Ficc, responsible for e-business in foreign exchange and fixed income before leaving the
