Citi Takes Crown In 1992 Euromoney Poll Chemical, Bankers Trust Move Up Sharply

Bankers Trust, Chemical Bank and Citibank were among the biggest winners in the 1992 Euromoney magazine poll of corporate treasurers, bankers who have seen the results say. Not surprisingly, Citibank remained on top, where it has reigned ever since the poll was initially compiled 16 years ago.
But there were some surprises as well, these sources say. Bankers Trust made the biggest leap, climbing to ninth place from 17th place last year. Although better known for its aggressive proprietary trading
