Market losing patience with the euro, says Crédit Agricole

Crédit Agricole CIB has topped this week's one-month currency forecasts rankings with accurate forecasts across the board in mid-May, driven by the prediction that risk aversion, monetary policy and political developments would drive the performance of major currencies more than fundamentals in recent weeks.

Following a period of significant euro depreciation, which led EUR/USD to trade at 1.2698 on May 18, the French bank placed more faith in the euro's resilience than some other forecasters
