BoE’s Salmon warns FX industry on adherence

Prescriptive regulation could hit foreign exchange markets as soon as three years after the publication of the Global Code of Conduct, if market participants fail to adhere to the voluntary set of principles aimed at eliminating systemic conduct issues, Chris Salmon of the Bank of England tells FX Week in an exclusive interview.

The Global Code of Conduct is set to be published in May 2017, after which it's likely that thorough reviews will be conducted every three years. While emphasising that
