Gain Capital chooses Eventus for market surveillance

The broker will use the technology provider’s Validus platform to monitor trading in its futures business

In focus: Gain provides over-the-counter FX retail trading besides access to listed derivatives

Gain Capital has opted to use regulatory technology provider Eventus and its Validus platform to manage the market surveillance aspect of its futures business via the cloud.

Gain provides trading services to retail customers on foreign exchange and contracts for difference through its forex.com and City Index brands. The firm’s futures group also provides access to listed derivatives across 30 exchanges around the globe.
