Minex Corp.'s second share issue brought several new investors into the fold, including the government of Singapore, MAI PLC (London-based parent of broker Butler Harlow Savage) and a quartet of Japanese discount money brokers (known as Tanshi companies). At the same time, lead investors Kokusai Denshin Denwa (KDD), the Japanese telecommunications company, and Tokyo Forex, the Japanese foreign exchange broker, kept a firm grip on the venture.
