Defence lawyers acting for James Martignoni, the former ABN Amro options dealer convicted of 16 counts of bank fraud, false entry and conspiracy, have been denied a motion for a mistrial (FX Week, February 7). Martignoni's sentencing remains set for March 8. His assistant at the time, Kristen Burch, who pleaded guilty to conspiracy, has a new date for sentencing, March 18.
