Central Banks Send Out Tri-Annual Forex Survey A More Detailed Questionnaire This Time Around

REGULATIONS

The Bank of England, the Federal Reserve and more than 18 other central banks worldwide have mailed out their tri-annual surveys to foreign exchange market participants. Coordinated by the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), the surveys--which are broadly similar--are considerably more detailed than the last ones, which were distributed in 1989.

According to a spokesman for the Bank of England, forex market principals and brokers will be asked to record all the transactions they complete
