Travelex targets Aussie corps

The UK firm is introducing the online offering FXpaynet in Australia in Q1 2006, as it looks to grow its commercial FX business and compete with large banks, it announced last week. The service – already live in the UK, Europe and North America – will be targeted in Australia at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Tony Biffaro, Melbourne-based regional director, commercial FX at Travelex, said the service is aimed at 'demystifying' FX to enable companies to trade more effectively.
