Phlx Unveils Customised Options Market Combining Exchange And OTC Attributes

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange (Phlx) last week unveiled what officials called its "revolutionary" United Currency Options Market (Ucom), which allows participants to customise currency options transactions under the safety net of the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC). Phlx officials contend this new "market" marries the best attributes of the listed market with those of the over-the-counter marketplace.
