Thomson Reuters to consolidate networks

Peter Moss, head of the content, technology and operations group at Thomson Reuters, said the aim is to eliminate duplication, and - by reducing the number of products that the vendor needs to support - reduce the cost of ownership for clients.

Currently, the vendor supports IDN, which supplies the Reuters DataFeed (RDF) and the majority of Reuters products; the Bridge Distribution Network from the former Bridge Information Systems (also known as Reuters Distribution Network); the legacy network
