Long Blockchain to merge with Stater

The combined company will focus on providing blockchain technology solutions to financial markets

Market focus: the two firms have incorporated the term blockchain into their names within the past month

Long Blockchain, the owner of the company producing Long Island Iced Tea, has announced its intention to merge with Stater Blockchain, a financial firm that owns Stater Global Markets, a foreign exchange prime-of-prime broker regulated in the UK.

While the terms of the proposed merger have not been made public, it is understood the two firms will merge into one through an all-stock transaction, with the combined entity to remain listed on Nasdaq.

Both firms have changed their entity names
