ING to merge central European back offices

The new regional centre will integrate all back-office administration from six of ING’s European branches in Budapest, Bratislava, Sofia, Vienna, Prague and Bucharest.

Maarten de Jong, currently deputy chief executive officer of ING Bank and ING Insurance in Hungary, will manage the new centre, which will be responsible for data on FX transactions, credit transactions, domestic and international money transfers and other cash movements.
