Citibank's foreign exchange options desk in New York was hit by two notable defections last week. CS First Boston officials confirmed reports that Phillip Vasan, currently head of Citibank's option department in New York, and Craig Puffenberger, a Citi vice president, will be joining the firm September 1. In addition, Mark Rosasco, Citi's treasurer in Tokyo announced his resignation from the bank last week, an official at Citibank confirms. Rosasco headed Citi's New York trading desk before
