Reuters Sees Risk Management At Top Of German Banks' Agendas

The imminent implementation of the European Capital Adequacy Directive (CAD) is focusing the minds of banks across Europe, particularly in Germany. According to Hans Ouwerkerk, managing director of Reuters Germany, banks there "are perhaps more serious" about risk management than elsewhere in Europe.

"They want to be ready, and we are now seeing interest at board level," he says. For this reason, Reuters Germany is outstripping other Reuters regions in sales of its Kondor+ risk management
