Integral is not for sale, according to Harpal Sandhu, the co-founder and chief executive of the technology firm that will celebrate its 25th anniversary this year. For starters, Silicon Valley companies are never sold; they just get acquired, he tells FX Week.

Integral, which traditionally adopted a media-shy strategy and nurtured a slightly secretive air, has recently started disclosing volume numbers. It has also embarked on a hiring spree of senior currency market executives.
