Equinix’s new data centre in Tokyo, TY11, has the potential to host the electronic FX pricing and matching engines of major banks due to its close proximity to rich ecosystems of network and cloud service providers, the company says.

Located in the Koto-ku area, the data centre provides direct access to key internet exchange points, the stock exchange and financial services partners, Equinix says.
