CME Sets May 29 Launch Date For Cross Rates Twin Cities Exchange Announces 45 Day Delay

The Chicago Mercantile Exchange has finally set a launch date for its proposed cross rate futures and options contracts. The exchange will launch its three Deutsche mark cross rate futures and corresponding options contracts May 29, officials there say. The long awaited unveiling is still subject to Commodity Futures Trading Commission approval.

If the exchange does get the official nod in time, it will launch its Deutsche mark/pound, yen/Deutsche mark and Swiss franc/Deutsche mark futures, and
