Pfau Establishes MicroQuant As Independent Fund Manager

After leaving New York-based currency and fixed income fund manager FX Concepts nearly two months ago, Peter Pfau, has set up an independent fund management and trading advisory service, with two partners.

MicroQuant Capital Management, based in New York, will initially concentrate on trading the currency markets, Pfau says. Adam Aronson, formerly a foreign exchange dealer with PaineWebber, and Dan Hajela, who left Bankers Trust's quantitative research department, will join Pfau as managing
