Forex gains expected as equity decline continues

NEW YORK -- Forex markets are likely to see more business from fund managers in the second half of this year, officials told FX Week. They were speaking in response to a survey from Merrill Lynch, which showed that funds’ outlook on world equities had sunk to a record low in April.

David Gould, director of investment at the National Association of Pension Funds in London, said: "Fund managers are looking at alternative ways of improving their revenue streams."
