Bhavana Dalal, senior research analyst at FX advisory and research company Forex Capital Services in New Delhi, says the US rate cut may help foreign funds in India, while the Reserve Bank of India's rate cut should not dent the rupee

NEW DELHI--Foreign funds now have the power to take the markets in their stride, as the reduction in US interest rates has made investments in emerging economies like India more attractive. As a result we saw phenomenal $1.03 billion inflow (since January 2001)
