ABN Amro beefs up forex in Singapore

Jerome Cohen, global head of FX exotics and G-11 options trading, is said to have transferred to Singapore from Tokyo last month. He is being joined by FX exotics trader Samir Kumar, who is relocating to the Lion State from Tokyo by September. Kumar has worked for ABN Amro since August 2004, after graduating with an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.

The relocations follow ABN Amro's move to build a Singapore forex hub by merging its Sydney G-11 FX business and its Asian local
