Dan Mantini has resigned from PaineWebber in New York, confirms a source at PaineWebber. Mantini was one of the few forex professionals left at the group after widescale cuts late last year (FXW, December 2). He was the options trading manager.
Alan Araje has joined Société Générale in New York as a mark/yen trader. Araje was previously a trader at PaineWebber, which shut down its forex operation late last year (FXW, December 2).
