Merrill Lynch Restructures Forex Options With Hire Of Key Goldman Sachs Dealer

John Wareham has joined Merrill Lynch as its new global head of short-term options based in London, according to global FX trading and sales co-head Joseph Argilagos. Wareham's hire puts into place a restructuring of Merrill's global FX options unit, which divides the short-term options business from exotic options.

Wareham was a vice president in currency options at Goldman Sachs in London, running its market-making book in the City, Goldman officials say. His responsibilities have been taken
