September 2006 - Trading for CME and Reuters disrupted

A technical glitch caused disruption to the introduction of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange's (CME) Chinese renminbi (RMB) futures contracts on Friday September 1.

The futures were due to start trading over the exchange's electronic trading platform Globex on Monday August 28. However, a fault occurred in the price display configuration in morning trade, which the exchange admitted impacted volumes traded.
