CSFB Names Global Forex Co-Heads

NEW YORK--Credit Suisse First Boston last week named Craig Puffenberger and Rusty Elvidge as its global co-heads of foreign exchange.

The move follows former global head of FX Philip Vasan’s appointment as head of CSFB Next, the bank’s institutional e-commerce initiative.

Puffenberger, who is based in New York, will head up risk for the FX operation, while Elvidge, who is based in London, will head FX sales and research.

Puffenberger joined CSFB in New York from Citibank in 1992--at the same time
