John Masters, managing director of treasury at Daiwa Europe in London has left the bank. The bank has been losing treasury and forex staff steadily since the last cutbacks in September. At that time, James Cameron, director of trading, including FX, former treasury manager Jon Turley, head of money markets; and Matthew Avery, a spot trader, all left the bank.
The treasury operation at the bank is now down to about 10 trading and sales staff, says the bank, with two in foreign exchange.
