BarCap launches onshore rates and FX trading in Australia
The bank said last week (April 13) that, while it has an onshore investment banking business in Australia, establishing a domestic trading and distribution presence adds to its capital markets and risk solutions product offering.
Leading the effort is Anthony Robson, who joined in December as head of Australian and New Zealand dollar rates trading, and Lucio Febo, who joined in March as head of distribution for Australia, both based in Sydney. Robson was previously at UBS in London, where he
