Ashraf Laidi quits CMC for start-up consultancy
Ashraf Laidi has left CMC Markets in London, where he was chief market strategist, to focus entirely on a new consultancy, Intermarket Strategy, of which he is founder and chief executive.
Intermarket Strategy will focus on providing analysis and consulting services in foreign exchange and commodities. Laidi, who will remain in London, also plans to privately manage FX funds in the future. Laidi's own website, which was established three years ago to analyse the interplay between equity indexes
