Lloyds hires FX trader from Commerzbank

Robert Philbin, a director in foreign exchange spot trading at Commerzbank, has left to join Lloyds Bank as a senior FX trader.

Based in New York, Philbin began his new role on November 18. He reports to Darren Coote, global head of FX spot trading in London, and Keith Underwood, head of FX trading in New York.

Philbin had worked at Commerzbank since January this year, having joined from Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking. He was chief dealer at the French bank and reported to
