BBVA hires Horowitz from Marex Spectron
BBVA has appointed Sam Horowitz, previously head of foreign exchange algorithmic trading at Marex Spectron, as vice-president in emerging markets and electronic FX trading.
Based in London, Horowitz reports locally to Malcolm Day, global head of emerging markets FX trading. The hire comes as BBVA looks to build out its emerging markets FX capabilities through both voice and electronic channels. Horowitz will split his time between emerging markets trading and e-FX development.
