JP Morgan loses senior FX spot trader to Nomura

Paul Davenport switches to the Japanese bank in London

Paul Davenport, head of foreign exchange spot trading for central and eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa (Ceemea) and Asian non-deliverable forwards at JP Morgan, has left the bank and is set to join Nomura.

Based in London, Davenport is understood to be taking over Bernard Singer's former role as head of emerging markets FX trading for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (Emea). At JP Morgan, Davenport worked under Stephen Jefferies, head of FX for Emea and emerging markets.
