FX treasurer exits Maple Leaf Foods

Jeff Cheah, a foreign exchange risk manager in the treasury team at Maple Leaf Foods, has left the firm.

Cheah, who had worked at the company for three years, was responsible for reducing its annual hedging costs via electronic execution, and improving FX and funding processes.

Previously, Cheah was chief technical analyst and a content manager at Thomson Reuters in Toronto. He worked there between 2006 and 2011, and was responsible for customer services, revenue retention and sales support in
