Credit Suisse hires head of FX strategy

Shahab Jalinoos joins the Swiss bank from UBS

Shahab Jalinoos, a former managing director and senior foreign exchange strategist for the Americas at UBS, has joined Swiss rival Credit Suisse as head of global foreign exchange strategy.

Based in Stamford, Connecticut while at UBS, Jalinoos spent roughly three years at the bank before making the switch. He will start his new job in September.

It was the second spell at UBS for Jalinoos, having originally worked there between 2000 and 2003. In between, he spent two years at Royal Bank of
