CME appoints new CFO

CME Group has promoted John Pietrowicz to senior managing director and chief financial officer (CFO). He will replace James Parisi, who is retiring in December after holding the post for 10 years, and report to chief executive officer Phupinder Gill. Currently, Pietrowicz is senior managing director of corporate development and finance, and deputy CFO. Prior to joining CME in 2003, he was chief financial officer at the Merchants' Exchange, the electronic commodities
