BAML appoints FX director in New York

Photios Harmantzis joins after spell as a portfolio manager

Photios Harmantzis, most recently a portfolio manager at WorldQuant, has joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) as a director and senior foreign exchange trader.

Based in New York, he moves to the US bank after more than a decade away from the sell side.

Harmantzis had worked at WorldQuant, an institutional investment management company, for nearly three years before leaving in April.
