'Fired' Deutsche trader joins Mexican financial group

Marlene Galvan denies reports of dismissal in relation to FX probe

Ex-Deutsche Bank vice-president and currency trader Marlene Galvan has joined Mexican financial group Actinver, after being out of the market since May when she became entangled in the probe into currency trading.

In May, press reports suggested Galvan was fired from Deutsche in connection with the regulatory investigation into the WM/Reuters currency benchmark. But, Galvan told FX Week that contrary to reports, she ended her time at the German bank on good terms and her departure was unrelated
