Citi head of European G-10 FX strategy exits

Valentin Marinov out the door at US bank

Valentin Marinov, head of European G-10 foreign exchange strategy at Citi, has left the bank, according to a source.

Based in London, Marinov reported to Steve Englander, global head of G-10 FX strategy. Marinov spent four years at Citi, after joining at the same time as Greg Anderson who performed a similar role in New York. Anderson now works at Bank of Montreal as global head of FX strategy.

Prior to Citi, Marinov worked as an FX strategist at Societe Generale for 12 months, before which he
