The use of transaction cost analysis (TCA) in foreign exchange markets is not a way of proving best execution for clients as there is still a significant amount of imperfect data, which can be misleading when making trading decisions, says Stephen Grady, head of dealing at Legal & General Asset Management (L&GAM).
